Gallery

SilvaPhotoGallery is a Silva Product (the "Silva Code Source" is still available) to add photo galleries to your Silva documents. Just add the code source to your Silva document and upload your images as "Silva Images" in the same folder than the Silva document (e.g. using .zip files and the full media import feature). SilvaPhotoGallery automatically displays the image thumbnails on your page, links them to the hires versions of the photos and adds the necessary javascripts.

Currently it has the following features:

• Open hires version of photo by clicking on it. Loading of the image is done using AJAX technology, so no page reloads are necessary.
• Image title is used as legend. If there is no title the image id is used.
  
• Go to next or previous image using the appropriate links or keyboard shortcuts.
• View the photos as slideshow using the specified time delay.

SilvaPhotoGallery uses the Lightbox JS javascript and the enhanced version Slidebox. It furthermore adds resizing of images which are bigger than the current window and automatic slideshow functionality.

Installation

Zope Product (new version, 1.0, 19.01.2007)
Download | History
SilvaPhotoGallery product and unpack it in the Products folder of zope instance. Add the code source in the zmi. Tested with Silva 1.5.x.

Code Source (old version)
Download SilvaPhotoGallery as Zope zexp-export and place the file in the "import" directory of your Zope installation on the server (you should create
the "import" directory in the root of your Zope installation
if it does not yet exist). Then click on "Import/Export" in the ZMI and choose "SilvaPhotoGallery.zexp" as file name. Tested with Silva 1.1.x and 1.5.x.
